Their platform sits in front of live venue operations, so identity is on the critical path during exactly the hours nobody wants to be doing maintenance.
The usual escape route is a managed identity provider, which solves the maintenance problem by taking the configuration with it. For a team that already has Keycloak set up the way it wants, that is a downgrade dressed as an upgrade.
