The Origin Story
Skycloak started with a simple discovery that changed everything.
While consulting as an AWS infrastructure scaling specialist, founder Guilliano Molaire stumbled across Keycloak through a client project. Here was an open-source tool that could answer virtually every IAM requirement — authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, even hosting the login and registration pages itself.
The realization was clear: teams were paying enormous sums to proprietary vendors, or accumulating security debt by building authentication themselves, when a battle-tested open-source solution already existed.
The problem? Keycloak is powerful but operationally complex. Setting up production infrastructure, managing upgrades, ensuring high availability, handling compliance — that's a full-time job most teams can't afford.
So Skycloak was born — to make Keycloak accessible to every developer and business, with managed infrastructure that removes the operational burden entirely.
