Start with a 21-day free trial on the Shared Cluster that includes:

Prefer running your own Keycloak instance from day one? The Expert onboarding path provisions a dedicated Small cluster instead, with a 7-day trial.
Limitations during trial:
- No dedicated clusters on the realm path (choose the Expert path for one)
- US region only

- No migrations from self-hosted Keycloak (available on paid plans)
Trial length: The standard trial runs on the Shared Cluster for 21 days. The Expert onboarding path, which provisions a dedicated cluster immediately, has a 7-day trial. Both can be extended by completing actions such as a feedback survey, a public review, or a sales call, up to a maximum of 45 days (Shared Cluster) or 31 days (Expert path).

Trial to Paid Conversion
- 21-day free trial for core features (7 days on the Expert path)
- A verified email address is required to subscribe
- After payment, a cluster setup wizard provisions your dedicated cluster; you can complete it right away or dismiss it and return later
- You then choose what happens to your trial realm: Move it to the new cluster (the default; all users, credentials, and configuration are carried over and your issuer URL is unchanged) or Delete it and start fresh
- After a Move, the old shared realm remains available for 14 days before it is decommissioned; a banner and sidebar indicator show the countdown
- 3-day grace period after trial ends without upgrading
- Automatic cluster suspension after grace period
- Data retained for 30 days after suspension
Managing Your Billing
We use Stripe to securely manage your billing and payments.
To access your billing:
- Click Billing in the left sidebar (under Workspace)
- Select “Manage Billing”
- You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure billing portal
From the Stripe portal, you can:
- View and download invoices
- Update billing information
- Change payment methods
- Cancel your subscription
- Resume a cancelled subscription
- View billing history
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades, and at the next billing cycle for downgrades.
What’s included in the free trial?
The 21-day free trial gives you a fully managed realm on the Shared Cluster (US region) with all core features and unlimited MAU. Want your own dedicated cluster from day one? Choose the Expert onboarding path, which has a 7-day trial. Both can be extended, and no credit card is required to start.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans.
What happens when my trial ends?
You have a 3-day grace period to upgrade. After that, clusters are suspended but data is retained for 30 days.
What happens to my trial realm when I upgrade?
You choose. The upgrade wizard lets you Move the realm to your new dedicated cluster, keeping all users, credentials, and configuration with the same issuer URL, or Delete it and start fresh. Moving is the default.
Why doesn’t Developer plan have analytics?
The Developer plan is optimized for building and testing. For production monitoring, we recommend the Launch plan which includes full analytics capabilities.
